"It is hard to believe that we have known each other for thirty years. The success and the acclaim that has been visited upon our community college as a result of your leadership is difficult to capture in mere words. I believe it is better captured by the achievements of thousands of students and entrepreneurs who have walked through the doors of LCCC. The community owes you more than what a paycheck can ever repay to you for your efforts. And, I might add your one on one basketball game wasn't so bad either. I certainly hope you and Bobbie remain a part of our community forever. Tony"
—Tony Giardini

"The most inspiring leader LCCC has ever had will be leaving us in a few weeks, but his accomplishments and vision will remain with us. Personally, I am very grateful for having the opportunity to work with such a fine all-around man. He has given us direction and inspiration and made a difference in our lives. I am a better accountant and a better person thanks to him.
In terms of profit and loss, his retirement is a loss for the college, but a profit for his family. I wish him a new journey of success and happiness in this new page of his life. May he be showered with abundant opportunities to do what his heart desires and a retirement full of health and happiness!
